Every Atheist Parent Needs: The Kid Should See This @TheKidShouldSee

It’s very important to me to be able to raise intelligent, literate, critical thinking kids and I’m always scouring the internet for resources to that end. This past weekend, while looking for some Neil deGrasse Tyson videos my son might like, I came across this web site and I fell in love immediately.

It’s called The Kid Should See This and it’s kind of like Upworthy for kids. It’s just video after video that engages kids and each post has some kind of educational depth. They cover science, space, animals, biology, art, music, food, etc… The only topic that really seems to be missing here, is religion and thank God for that (no holy).

To give you an idea of what types of videos are posted on TKSST, check out some of my faves:

Every video posted to this site is just as interesting and just as appealing to kids. With the added, extra cool feature of being able to save your favorite videos so you can find again easily, this site will quickly become one of your most visited.

TKSST is one of my most-clicked bookmarks and I feel totally safe leaving my 6 year old to explore the site on his own. It’s a great way to answer questions, start conversations or just spend some quality time with your kid winding down at the end of the day.

Godless Mom highly recommends. Go check out The Kid Should See This
