Seriously, I’d probably have a discussion with them and reason with them as much as possible, but if I could not raise enough doubts in their mind to resist the religion, I’d just have to accept it.
Its the same principle as when you child is gay, you don’t have to like it, just accept it
If your child choose to become religious ? You’ve got no choice but to accept it. Afterwards, you’re stuck between denying your child is slowly but willingly self-lobotomising or staying aware of your child changes and feeling miserable for it.
